If there were anymore awards to be had, one might believe that the PeeWee Thunder would hunt them down and devour them. This team has set the bar so high that it may take another 4 decades to accomplish what they set out at the start of this hockey season to achieve.  After winning our Zone in Provincial play, capturing gold at Provincials and having the best record in the Spud League, yesterday they became the Spud League playoff Champions.  The coaching staff, manager, parents and most importantly the players have done an excellent job of representing our organization and the entire community. Congratulations on your outstanding success this year!!!

For the first time in Crowsnest Pass history a local team has been crowned Provincial Champions.  After a five game undefeated championship bout, our PeeWee hockey team has achieved the pinnacle of minor hockey.  It was certainly a battle as evident by the bumps, bruises and war wounds, but all that was forgotten when their gloves and sticks were tossed in the air and the banner was held high.  They now can hold their heads high as not only are they champions, but trailblazers for future generations of champions. Congratulations to the entire team - you have made Crowsnest Pass Minor Hockey proud!

The PeeWee team has officially become the  the 2011-2012 Zone 5 Champions with a resounding victory over High Country tonight!  CNPMHA association is confident that these hardworking kids will represent Zone 5 tremendously in the upcoming Provincial Championship later on this month.  Good work boys and good luck - we are all rooting for you!

Its official!  After a 10-7 victory over Nanton and an automatic by thru the final round of Provincial play, our PeeWee team will be attending the 2012 PeeWee D Provincials in Black Diamond.  The team still has to play a final round against High Country  to determine who will actually be the official representative of Zone 5.  This will be the second time that this squadron of kids have attended Provincial play together as in the 2009-2010 season they won silver in Atom A Provincials.  Congrats to the kids and the coaching staff for a job well done!

4 out of 5 of our local hockey teams will take advantage of home ice this weekend.  As we enter into a new year and winter is now officialy upon us, CNPMH is encouraging everyone to come and enjoy some great hockey.  Watch one of our little Timbits teams in action or check out the RED HOT PeeWees. Yank out grandma and grandpa and catch the Atom and Novice teams as well, as they each come off a 2 game, out of town victory stretch this past weekend.  Our website is updated with all the times for this big weekend, so mark it down and get out of the house.  Zips concession will be open and ready to serve all throughout the weekend.

In addition to our great youth hockey, CNPMH would also like to announce that the Peigan Cowboys will be hosting a Senior "A" mens game on February 11.  This is an excellent chance to see some good old fashion, hard hitting hockey - just like the olden days!
